This role sits within our Retail Energy Division, and English fluency is required.

Provision and Peak 6 Power & Gas are retail energy suppliers that serve electricity and natural gas to homes and small businesses in Ohio, Michigan, and California, USA, and are subsidiaries of CarbonBetter. We’re seeking a new Sales Support Associate to join us to support our sales team.

Position Overview

Our Outside Sales Support Associate assists our outside sales channel manager with day-to-day tasks related to their work managing sales teams in the field. Tasks include developing ongoing relationships with vendors, managing communications with vendors, preparing and sending sales reports to vendors, managing the onboarding and offboarding of new teams and agents, day-to-day performance and motivation, and other clearly defined tasks for which full training will be provided. In addition, the Sales Support Associate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing sales and operational data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of the outside sales channel.

Sales Support Associates have the opportunity to advance their careers by taking on more complex tasks over time to support our sales activities.

Fluency in English is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teammates to complete assigned sales support tasks in a timely and thorough manner, which includes:

    • managing communication with external sales vendors, preparing vendor agreements

    • using Google Workspace tools to execute simple reporting and analysis tasks

    • managing scrubbing processes for our telephonic sales channel

    • managing onboarding and offboarding of teams and agents

    • responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly recurring tasks

  • Conduct routine sales partner audits to monitor performance and collaborate on driving improvement in performance and customer experience

  • Join calibration calls with sales partners to provide feedback and opportunities to improve

  • Manage sales training and process documentation for sales teams

  • Escalate questions and concerns, when needed

  • Engage with teammates over Slack in a timely, clear, and consistent manner

  • Complete ad-hoc assigned tasks and projects, as needed

  • Preparing and analyzing sales and operational data to identify trends, drive efficiency, and improve sales quality.

Requirements

  • Must speak English fluently and be able to hold conversations with native English speakers

  • Must have two (2) or more years of experience in a support/assistant role

  • Must be an intermediate to advanced Excel user with great analytical capabilities

  • Must be able to follow specific and detailed instructions and processes

  • Must be able to sit at a computer Monday through Friday for eight hours per day

  • Must be comfortable learning new software, online tools, and processes

  • Must be patient, empathetic, and understanding even in the most challenging circumstances


Working Hours & Location

  • Our office is located in the El Poblado area of Medellín.

  • The working hours for this role are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CDT and are to remain in sync with the company’s Austin HQ (Central Time) throughout the year.
