About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR functions in our Medellín office while also supporting HR operations in the U.S. This role is ideal for a proactive, people-focused professional who can oversee HR compliance and reporting, onboarding and offboarding, recruitment, and office management, across both regions.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and U.S. labor laws, maintain employee records, and generate HR reports as needed.
HR Support for U.S. Operations: Collaborate with U.S.-based leadership to assist with HR initiatives, compliance, and workforce management.
Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees, addressing concerns and promoting a positive company culture.
Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company values and legal requirements.
Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding: Lead hiring efforts, coordinate candidate interviews, and manage seamless onboarding and offboarding for new employees in Colombia and the U.S.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of HR experience, preferably in an international or multi-location company.
Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and familiarity with U.S. HR regulations.
Proven experience in recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
