About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Associate to support HR functions in our Medellín office while also assisting with HR operations in the U.S. This role is ideal for an organized, people-focused professional who can help with HR compliance and reporting, onboarding and offboarding, recruitment, and office management across both regions.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance & Reporting: Assist in ensuring compliance with local and U.S. labor laws, maintain employee records, and generate HR reports as needed.
HR Support for U.S. Operations: Collaborate with U.S.-based leadership to support HR initiatives, compliance, and workforce management.
Employee Relations: Provide support for employees, addressing concerns and helping to foster a positive company culture.
Policy Implementation: Help maintain and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company values and legal requirements.
Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding: Assist with hiring efforts, coordinate candidate interviews, and support a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience for employees in Colombia and the U.S.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of HR experience, preferably in an international or multi-location company.
Basic understanding of Colombian labor laws and familiarity with U.S. HR regulations.
Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and compliance is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
