About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR functions in our Medellín office while also supporting HR operations in the U.S. This role is ideal for a proactive, people-focused professional who can oversee HR compliance and reporting, onboarding and offboarding, recruitment, and office management, across both regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and U.S. labor laws, maintain employee records, and generate HR reports as needed.

  • HR Support for U.S. Operations: Collaborate with U.S.-based leadership to assist with HR initiatives, compliance, and workforce management.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees, addressing concerns and promoting a positive company culture.

  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company values and legal requirements.

  • Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding: Lead hiring efforts, coordinate candidate interviews, and manage seamless onboarding and offboarding for new employees in Colombia and the U.S.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in an international or multi-location company.

  • Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and familiarity with U.S. HR regulations.

  • Proven experience in recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
