This role sits within our Retail Energy Division, is an indefinite contract, and English fluency is required.

Role Impact

This role offers unique exposure to all aspects of our retail energy business, from regulatory reporting to operational analysis, providing an excellent foundation for understanding how energy retail businesses operate and grow. As a key member of the Business Operations team, you'll manage critical regulatory and operational data and reporting processes that keep our business running smoothly and compliant. Through this work, you'll develop expertise in the retail energy market, regulatory requirements, and business operations while building valuable analytical and project management skills.

This role reports to the division GM and operates within a matrixed team structure, collaborating with teams throughout the division.

Areas of Responsibility

Regulatory Reporting & Compliance (35%)

  • Support the monitoring and reporting of regulatory requirements, tariffs, and contracts in current and future markets

  • Prepare and submit recurring regulatory reports across multiple markets

  • Support regulatory processes, including renewals and licensing requirements

  • Maintain compliance tracking documentation and systems

Data Management & Business Reporting (35%)

  • Support the analysis of key performance metrics, including sales growth, customer acquisition costs, churn rates, and profitability

  • Maintain and update key business data in Tableau and other reporting systems

  • Prepare recurring reports for internal stakeholders

  • Support the preparation of materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews

  • Collaborate with the BI team on report maintenance and improvements

Business Analysis & Special Projects (30%)

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to investigate business questions and opportunities

  • Support data gathering and analysis for strategic initiatives

  • Assist with special projects as needed

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field

  • Strong Excel skills required; experience with Tableau or similar tools is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines

  • Analytical mindset and ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and profitability metrics is highly desirable

  • Fluent in English

Working Hours & Location

  • Our office is located in the El Poblado area of Medellín.

  • The working hours for this role are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CDT and are to remain in sync with the company’s Austin HQ (Central Time) throughout the year.
